EDITION 20: JERSEY, CHANNEL ISLANDS

Salut Bouônjour! Welcome to Jersey, part of the Channel Islands near the coast of France, and a self-governing Crown Dependency. Though English is a dominant language here, Jèrriais is a Norman-French language native to the island.

I’ll admit I hadn’t known too much about Jersey until researching for The Painted Atlas! I was happy to learn more– being from New Jersey, I was curious about the original Jersey, including where it is and what it’s like. There are many fun things to do here, let’s check them out below.
