Hóla, and kaixo! Today we are venturing to the province of Navarre in northern Spain, and one of Spain’s autonomous communities. In 2015 I had the pleasure of visiting Pamplona, the beautiful and winding capital of Navarre, and home to the San Fermín Festival (and running of the bulls). Spain was the first country I chose to visit during a transitional time, when I began working as an artist. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and diverse countries in the world.
Navarre is next to Spain’s Basque Autonomous Community, and is also home to Basque culture within. More regions of Spain will be covered by The Painted Atlas in the future, but we are definitely landing our feet in Navarre this week!
